Installation of four synchronous condensers (SynCons) for two plants in Scotland to stabilise the electricity grid in Phase 2 - Thurso South (275/15 kV) and Neilston (400/15 kV) electrical substations.
They will provide short-circuit power and inertia and compensate for reactive power, thereby increasing the efficiency of the electrical system.
